New Zealand School of Export Milestones - 2009

February 2009 saw the first ever New Zealand School of Export graduates. After 17 months of hard work and commitment, these exporters and their sponsoring organisations were at last able to celebrate. Read about our Alumni here.

Earlier in the year, the School was announced as a finalist in the VERO Excellence in Business Support Awards: Education Category. The winner was Auckland University's ICEHOUSE - but we hope to be back there next year!

In October, the School moved to a"Flexi-Start" in response to our exporters needs - so you can now start the Diploma of International Trade on the 1st day of any month - you choose!

At the end of October, the School was an entrant in the EEO Trust Work and Life Awards 2009.

Towards the end of the year, the crew from 'Made from New Zealand' recorded our first New Zealand School of Export video, available on the website.

In December, a new 'Dr Romuald Rudzki Export Scholarship' to the value of $5000 was launched for 'small poppies with ambition'.
